HOW TO GET THERE

The 9th Vancouver Chinatown Festival will take place in the heart of Vancouver's historic Chinatown on Columbia Street (the segment between Keefer & Pender Street) and on Keefer Street (the segment between Carrall and Columbia Street). Traffic to Columbia and Keefer Street where the Festival is taking place will be closed starting from 6AM August 9 until 9PM August 10.

Located east of Downtown Vancouver, Vancouver Chinatown is easy to get to.

By Bike*:

This year, we are proud to present an on-site Bicycle Valet in our very own Chinatown! Bike down to Chinatown and recieve Valet services to you at no charge.

By SkyTrain*:

The closest SkyTrain stop is the "Stadium - Chinatown" Station.   Look for the sign "Chinatown" and walk east down Keefer Street for three blocks.

By Bus*:

Either #22 Knight or #19 Metrotown from Downtown Vancouver.   Get off the bus at the first stop after the Millennium Gate. C21 and C23 will drop you off right on Keefer by Columbia St.

*Detailed instructions and schedules on Skytrain and buses are available at www.translink.bc.ca.

Walk:

Follow the Silk Road banners from Downtown Vancouver Public Library.   Click here for Silk Road Route Map .

The route proceeds north and east from Library Square to the Keefer Steps where it descends towards Chinatown. Follow the Silk Road banners to Pender or Keefer Street and you are at the Festival once you hit Columbia Street.
