We are a non-profit organization that aims to create a
dynamic and sustainable Chinatown community and tourist destination.
Taking a lead role in expanding partnership with three levels of
government, communities, and corporations to improve the physical
environment of Chinatown, the VCBIA implements marketing programs
to promote Chinatown to locals and tourists, and develops initiatives
to revitalize the economy of Chinatown. The annual Vancouver Chinatown
Festival is one of the major efforts organized by VCBIA with the
objective to showcase Chinatown's rich heritage and provide cultural
enrichment experiences for locals and tourists with family-oriented
entertainment and activities.
